This single-storey residence in Artemida was designed for a family of four.

The architectural concept originates from a single structural element: a rectangular roof slab supported by reinforced concrete walls. Through a process of subtraction and addition, the slab is transformed to create a sequence of spatial configurations, both inside and outside the residence.

A central courtyard introduces natural cross-ventilation and creates compelling visual connections throughout the interior. The residence is organized into two primary functional zones. The first accommodates the main living spaces and is oriented toward the south to maximize daylight and environmental comfort. The second zone houses the bedrooms and auxiliary spaces, oriented toward the east.
