DESCRIPTION

ACRM, in collaboration with the French architectural practice SOAN Architecture, undertook the construction of the flagship store of Zadig & Voltaire on Voukourestiou Street in Kolonaki, Athens.

The contemporary architectural approach is expressed through the exposure of the building’s structural elements and the dynamic interplay of contrasts between raw textures and the refined Carrara marble that dominates the background.

Black detailing, strict geometric volumes, and large marble surfaces compose a highly dynamic environment, functioning as the ideal setting for showcasing both the collection and the distinctive aesthetic identity of the brand.

A particularly striking element of the interior design — innovative for the period in which the project was constructed — was the decision to leave the electromechanical installations exposed at ceiling level, reinforcing the contemporary and industrial character of the space.
