DESCRIPTION

The Primary School of the Ursuline French School in Marousi was carefully renovated during the summer of 2024, highlighting its contemporary aesthetic and enhancing its architectural potential. The overall refurbishment of the facilities harmoniously combines ergonomics, functionality, and student safety, creating spaces that support the daily educational experience with a sense of comfort and warmth.

In the office areas, the design is characterized by simplicity and a welcoming atmosphere, aiming to create a pleasant environment for both visitors and staff. Each section conveys a sense of calm, achieved through the use of natural materials and soft color tones that highlight the vibrancy and understated elegance of the space.

The classrooms were renovated with full respect for the needs of the students, ensuring abundant natural light and adequate ventilation. The new design takes into account the dynamics of each class, offering functional and flexible solutions, while the introduction of a contemporary, colorful aesthetic contributes to an environment that encourages learning and creativity.

The renovated library, featuring an innovative architectural approach, stands as one of the most distinctive areas of the school. It was designed from the ground up to accommodate a large book collection and includes a small amphitheater for daily storytelling sessions, offering a unique cultural experience. In addition, reading corners have been created for children, within a space that promotes relaxation, focus, and engagement with books.

The renovation was successfully completed within a strict timeframe, during the school holidays, demonstrating the ability to deliver a complex project without disrupting the daily operation of the school community.
