DESCRIPTION

The project concerns the renovation of an existing building in the historic and rapidly developing area of Akadimia Platonos in Athens. The building has a total area of approximately 8,000 sq.m. and extends over five floors, including a ground floor, mezzanine, two basement levels, and a roof level. The purpose of the renovation is to accommodate the offices of the Greek branch of an innovative IT services company.

The design places strong emphasis on the operational needs of the company, aiming to create a pleasant and contemporary working environment. Contemporary design elements enrich and enhance the building’s overall image, without compromising its original character.

The office areas reflect two distinct working philosophies, allowing employees to move freely within the space, work in focused and quiet conditions, and at the same time interact and collaborate with colleagues. As a result, the layout combines open-plan workspaces with smaller enclosed offices, alongside lounge areas and shared spaces that encourage interaction.

The building offers a variety of communal facilities, including dining and coffee areas, lounges, individual reading spaces, meeting rooms, and two guest suites. At roof level, a pergola-covered area and an outdoor bar create an ideal setting for gatherings, offering panoramic views in all directions.
