DESCRIPTION

The residence, originally constructed in the 1950s, was renovated with the primary aim of creating a contemporary and fully functional home, while preserving the authentic character and architectural identity of the building.

Particular emphasis was placed on retaining key materials and morphological elements, such as the exposed stone façade, terrazzo flooring, and marble surfaces, all of which were carefully restored and harmoniously integrated into the new aesthetic approach.

At the same time, the building was upgraded both energetically and structurally through the addition of new insulation systems, contemporary timber frames, and the complete renovation of the roof, ensuring enhanced comfort and improved energy performance.

The new spatial layout was designed to meet the needs of a modern family, incorporating a large open-plan kitchen and four bedrooms, while preserving the principal reception areas, including the main and secondary living rooms, as well as the dining room.

As part of the overall upgrading of the property, an elevator was added, while an independent guest suite was created at basement level.

A defining feature of the residence’s new identity was also the construction of a swimming pool, which substantially enhanced both the functionality and the quality of outdoor living.
