Hotel Unit, Ios

The project is a new study by ACRM for a hotel complex on the island of Ios, consisting of 18 independent buildings with a total area of 1200m2 within a 7000m2 plot. The project highlights architecture in perfect harmony with the natural landscape, creating a unique space that combines contemporary design and natural beauty.

The plot has a natural slope from West to East and the architectural design has carefully focused on highlighting the ideal view to the sea from all buildings without disturbing the natural landscape. At the same time, the routes connecting the buildings are designed to follow the curves of the land, minimizing interference with the original landform and allowing the natural lines of the landscape to dominate.

Of 18 buildings in total, two are bermed and two have two stories with a loft, all designed to blend seamlessly into the landscape, while each building offers the luxury of a private swimming pool.

Every design element – from the architectural scale to the choice of materials – has been selected to enhance the sense of harmony and natural beauty, offering guests an authentic luxury experience within the landscape.
